Takuya Sakata joined Toppan Inc. in 2005, where he was involved in marketing and new business support for industries such as publishing, advertising, toys, games, parking, car sharing, and communication platforms. In April 2014, he was transferred to the Corporate Strategy Department, where he was in charge of corporate planning. In 2016, he launched Toppan Printing's Corporate Venture Capital and engaged in venture investment and M&A operations. He has been involved in the business development of 25 startup companies and serves as an outside director of Unifa and Combo. Sakata joined Delight Ventures in November 2022. He also teaches strategy and marketing as a lecturer in the GLOBIS MBA program, from which he graduated in 2016.
